Bugs and Buboes

Bugs and Buboes is the ideal booklet for little ones interested in the Eyam plague.  Written by John Clifford, a retired head teacher, local author and co founder of Eyam Museum, this booklet explains the story in simple terms.  The format is easily accessible and there are pictures to colour and activities to do. 

The short chapters tell us how the plague arrived in Eyam and how it spread. We hear stories of people who lived in Eyam and what the village did to stop the spread of the disease. We find out about cures people tried and hear about happier times once the plague ended.
